I don’t know why, but we just love giving stuff away! We have some Adventure Connections Wellington National Park MTB Shuttle Passes to give away, plus there’s a chance of getting another SMITH Optics Pack if we have a big enough response to the survey. I reckon I can round up another couple of Collie River MTB Merchandise Bundles as well with Merida T-Shirts and some Ride Collie gear! Oh, and we might just organise a meal for two or three people as well - you’ll have to fill in the survey and find out how!

Amazing Photographers

We are absolutely blessed to have amazing photographers that love mountain biking as much as we do!
The quality (and quantity) of photo’s from this years event is absolutely mind boggling. After the event I normally sit down and tag all of the amazing photo’s that I think I can use for promotional use - and normally end up with 20-30. This year I’ve more than doubled that number or mind blowing incredible photos!
A massive thanks as always to internationally acclaimed Daniela Tommasi - the photo’s she takes are just consistently incredible!
Local legend and motorsport photography guru Tim Allott stepped it up another notch this year and my favourite photo of his is Bill Hayes (of Cape to Cape MTB) not remembering to go right around the creek crossing and having quite a surprised look on his face as his bike disappears into the water below him. Absolute photographic gold - right place, right time, and a great series of shots!
Finally, and by no means least, is the ever present photographer at almost every MTB event in WA - Stack Woodward. Taking time away from her new venture “Hillside Cycles” in Glen Forrest (check it out if you get a chance) to come to Collie and take some photo’s. And by ‘some’ I mean heaps. Lots. Very many. And not just point and shoot stuff - but some really clever and beautiful images capturing moments throughout the day. A personal favourite is her photo’s of my son, Frederik, as he makes his way through the lush forest trails in Arklow. You’re a super star Stack - thanks so much for your efforts!
